Job Overview: The Business Development Executive - Software Sales will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in software sales. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored software solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our software solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotations, and contracts to potential clients.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role in software sales.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and technology trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in selling enterprise software solutions.
  • Knowledge of specific industry verticals (e.g., healthcare, finance, manufacturing).
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales and subscription-based models.
  • Certification in sales or business development.
