The Business Continuity Lead role is essential to the overall health and success of the D&A Business! This role is part of D&A Operations first line of defense function. The focus of the role is on driving a positive and responsible approach to Business Continuity for D&A Operations in an environment of growing regulatory oversight and customer attention .

The role will have three core areas of focus. Embedding the group wide Business Continuity Framework into first line to ensure resiliency of Operations delivery functions. Acting as group though leader for business continuity ensuring teams have the ability to successfully lead change, and handle business continuity incidents protecting Meaningful Business and Critical Internal Services. Supporting continuity of service through implementation of standard methodologies that meet business needs and regulatory requirements to ensure the resilient delivery of Operations functions!

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Planning the roadmap of activities to embed the Group\'s resilience and continuity framework in D&A Operations.
• Coordination with BCP co-ordinators to supervise execution of annual required activities
• Education of D&A Operations team members on Business Continuity related topics
• Collation on Business Continuity plans, viability and preparedness insights and ongoing remediation activities for input into D&A Ops Leadership and divisional committees.
• Providing summaries and status reporting data / information as input to Customer Assurance activity requests concerning Business Continuity
• Periodic calibration of Business Continuity activities across the Division/Entity to validate that prioritization is appropriate.
• Coordination with BCM Coordinators to ensure effective communication, and contribution to Group led improvement programmes and projects
• Embedding resilience and disaster preparedness thinking and culture within the Operations community.
• Briefing executive collaborators on all matters related to business continuity and disaster recovery
