Position Summary: The Business Banking Advisor is responsible for providing financial solutions and advisory services to small and medium-sized business clients. This role involves understanding clients\' business needs, offering tailored banking products and services, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. The advisor works closely with clients to help them achieve their financial goals and grow their businesses. Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients\xe2\x80\x99 banking needs.
Conduct regular meetings with clients to review their financial status and provide advice.
Financial Advisory:
Analyze clients\' financial statements and business plans.
Offer insights and recommendations on financial products and services, including loans, credit lines, deposits, and treasury management solutions.
Provide guidance on cash flow management, investment strategies, and risk management.
Sales and Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market.
Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base and grow revenue.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to cross-sell additional bank products and services.
Credit Analysis and Risk Assessment:
Evaluate clients\' creditworthiness and prepare detailed credit proposals.
Monitor and manage the risk profile of the portfolio.
Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Market and Industry Knowledge:
Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape.
Provide clients with relevant market insights and economic updates.
Participate in local networking events and industry conferences.
Client Education and Support:
Educate clients on digital banking platforms and self-service options.
Assist clients with the implementation of banking solutions.
Provide ongoing support and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business banking or financial advisory roles.
Strong understanding of financial products, credit analysis, and risk management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Proficiency in financial analysis and Microsoft Office applications.
