Job summary


We are seeking a dedicated GeoSpatial Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience in Java development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Bitbucket GITHUB Cucumber RestAssured and Selenium. This role requires a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel. The candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of geospatial applications ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Java to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Utilize Bitbucket and GITHUB for version control and collaborative development.
• Implement automated testing using Cucumber and RestAssured to ensure code quality.
• Use Selenium for automated browser testing to enhance application reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers as needed.
• Ensure the application meets the highest standards of security and data protection.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions.
• Work closely with the front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Document development processes code changes and other relevant information for future reference.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Have 4 to 6 years of experience in Java development with a focus on geospatial applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Bitbucket and GITHUB for version control.
• Show expertise in automated testing tools like Cucumber and RestAssured.
• Have hands-on experience with Selenium for browser automation.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Display excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Be familiar with Agile development methodologies and practices.
• Show a keen interest in staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Have a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
