Job summary


We are seeking a dedicated GeoSpatial Analyst for our MAP team with 2 to 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jira Embedded Systems - C/C++ Yocto WiFi Linux and Cable Modems (DOCSIS/RDK). This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively during day shifts without the need for travel. Responsibilities

• Analyze geospatial data to support various projects and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain embedded systems using C/C++ to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize Jira for project management and tracking to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Implement and manage Yocto-based systems to streamline development processes.
• Configure and troubleshoot WiFi networks to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Work with Linux operating systems to develop and deploy applications.
• Manage Cable Modems (DOCSIS/RDK) to ensure reliable internet connectivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial data into various applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for embedded systems and network issues.
• Conduct data analysis and visualization to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in geospatial analysis.
• Document processes and procedures to maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge to stay current with industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of geospatial data analysis and its applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in C/C++ for developing and maintaining embedded systems.
• Have hands-on experience with Jira for effective project management.
• Show expertise in Yocto for managing embedded Linux systems.
• Exhibit knowledge of WiFi configuration and troubleshooting.
• Be proficient in Linux operating systems for application development and deployment.
• Have experience with Cable Modems (DOCSIS/RDK) for ensuring reliable connectivity.
• Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possess excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Should be able to test Device Engineering -STB SMARTTV OTT Devices specific initiatives for RDK-Video middleware for Media Graphic connectivity functional use cases with integration of backend for UI/UX Content protection and security DBR and other VAS features. Excellent testing knowledge in multitasking embedded environment Linux application development and POSIX standards. Testing and device monitoring experience with DOCSIS Passive optical network Satellite network for WAN and Wifi MOCA for LAN is must.Deep understanding of low-level video software stack. Familiar with shell scripts. Jira/Confluence. Git/Gerrit/Yocto. Good understanding of device drivers low level platform software Ability to quickly understand and translate product requirements into technical solutions Independent with good communication and team working skills. Solution focused with ability to plan anticipate issues consider risks and help deliver best value Willing to take on challenges and adapt with changing priorities.
