What you will do

  • Drive process improvement initiatives through disciplined use of measurement, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices.
  • Understand broad initiatives and translate them into business and functional requirements.
  • Elicit and articulate the needs of the user through requirement documents.
  • Drive decisions on key business decisions, business rules, policies, cross-program dependencies, and high-level solution designs
  • Contribute in capability co-design sessions, assess and evaluate IT solutions and negotiate options
  • Contribute to Cisco\'s digital customer and partner experience strategy while flawlessly executing against your roadmap.
  • Act as collaborative glue between engineering teams, product, and program management
  • Invest deeply in the success of the team, understanding how your role drives value for end users and the organization.
Who You\'ll Work WithCOLx Team is part of the Commercial Lifecycle Organization. We make doing business with Cisco easier by defining and scaling buying programs, enabling offers, setting standards, and delivering licensing lifecycle support to maximize sales of Cisco portfolio, accelerate recurring revenue, and enable customers to realize the value of their Cisco investment.Who You AreRequired Skills/Experience
  • Experience in authoring epics, features, requirement documents and user stories, with emphasis on the customer experience.
  • Commerce, Distribution and/or Partner lifecycle understanding is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Business stakeholders engineering teams.
  • Proven track record to maintain alignment between stakeholders across many time zones.
  • Process and functional aptitude to quickly learn and assimilate to new information
  • Power to influence peers and stakeholders, drive towards a decision while handling ambiguity.
  • Strong experience with agile methodologies and eagerness to roll up sleeves to evolve processes as business needs evolve.
  • Experience with Jira preferred.
Our Minimum requirements for this role are:
  • B E. or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 8+ years of work experience within a Business Architect, Product Ownership, Product Management, Process Improvement, or consulting environment.

For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
