Job Description


ServiceNow Integration Specialist As a ServiceNow Integration Specialist, you are part of the Synopsys IT Engineering Application team experts that manage and support company-wide usage of ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Fisheye, and Stack Overflow applications. You will primarily be leading and performing both business/value analysis and technical integration work surrounding ServiceNow application usage at Synopsys that include but are not limited to the following activities. Implement and maintain various integration automations: Process integrations - move data across systems to facilitate a process, such as sending ServiceNow records to Jira to support the downstream issue and project tracking process. UI integrations - present 3 rd -party web information within the Now Platform, such as team/project structure data lookup Data integrations - enable data sharing and updating automation Work closely with ServiceNow Product Owner and technical teams as well as system administrators of both the Now Platform and the other system also work with the process owners of impacted processes to plan and perform these integration automations. Work with IT Core/Network and Information Security teams to determine basic network requirements Research available integration technology options both on the Now Platform and on the other system to integrate with Create and maintain system integration documentations with effective communication and technical writing skills Requirements This position typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related experiences and skills as follows with a BS or MS degree: Hands-on experience in application administration/configuration/development of ServiceNow ITSM Additional experiences in ServiceNow ITOM, ITAM, HRSD are a strong plus Hands-on experience in CMDB, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub ServiceNow certified system administrator ServiceNow certified implementer \' IT Service Management Additional ServiceNow implementer certifications in other product lines, e.g., Human Resources, are a plus Hands-on experience in performing system integration/service delivery automation using ServiceNow Integration Hub and ServiceNow Store Experience in REST API and Python or other scripting languages Experience with system integrations, especially with debugging Experience in working with business leads for user requirement collection and functional design fit/gap analysis Experience in system implementation and change management processes Hands-on experience in the software product development and tracking process and their related governance Experience in support of both cloud-based and on-prem applications Solid analytic and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a global team environment Enthusiasm to learn new technologies Hands-on experience in IT service management skills - monitoring support queues, establishing priorities, assigning to support group or team member, authoring knowledge articles adhered to the KCS process
