About the role:Gartner is seeking an experienced Business Analytics Manager to join our Conferences Team in Gurgaon. You will work with a globally distributed team to understand business needs and provide actionable insights, so collaboration skills are essential. You should also have experience managing a team, driving results with stakeholders plus great technical skills in SQL, Excel, Python. Conferences is a fast-paced organization and were looking for someone who thrives in overcoming obstacles with a can-do-attitude.The Business Analytics Manager role within Gartner's Conferences team is pivotal in shaping strategic decisions through data-driven insights. If you're a hands-on analytics manager with a talent for problem-solving and clear communication, we want to hear from you.What you will do:

  • Lead a team and analyze data, delivering accurate insights.
  • Drive projects independently, taking full ownership from initiation to execution, with a sharp focus on thorough execution and follow-through.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to understand their needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Tell compelling stories with data and solve complex business problems.
  • Communicate clearly to senior stakeholders via PowerPoint and Power BI.
What you will need:
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in business analytics, with 2 years of team management experience.
  • Strong SQL, Excel, and Power BI (or similar Tableau, etc.) skills for data preparation and analysis.
  • Experience with Python in a business environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present findings clearly.
  • Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business impact.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous problem-solving situations, demonstrating agility and the ability to pivot quickly with changing business priorities.
