DESCRIPTION Amazon India\'s Value added services team is looking for talented Business Analyst to develop solutions to better analyze input/output metrics while providing the best experience to our customers. As part of the Category team, the Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely with the business and seller partners to analyze data, build inferences, and deliver compelling and actionable data insights in terms of reports and dashboards. This role requires an individual with excellent understanding of SQL and query development, good business acumen and the ability to work with business, program and marketing teams. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and driven by a desire to innovate in this space. The Business Analyst position is based in Bangalore. Key job responsibilities As part of IN VAS charter the successful candidate will work closely with VAS and partner teams to drive VAS metrics and build analytical capabilites. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Bengaluru, KA, IND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS . 3+ years of experience in financial/business analysis . Experience with SQL or ETL . Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights . Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar quantitative discipline . 2-5 years in relevant experience as Business Analyst, Data Scientist, Business Intelligence Engineer,Data Engineer, or equivalent . Technical skills - Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and statistical analysis tools and techniques . Experience with data visualization using QuickSight, Tableau, or similar tools . Strong Analytical skills - has ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusion relevant to the business problem . Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical problems in simple plain stories . Ability to present information professionally & concisely with supporting data .
