• The role will be joining the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Team within the Sandoz TechOps Solutions organization and plays a critical role for the success of our Digital Manufacturing Strategy.
• Act as an advisor providing guidance to improve global business processes, products, services, and software through da-ta analysis.
• Capture and translate process requirements into respective system requirements and lead & consult the global development and roll-out projects.
• Engage with global key business & Technology stakeholders in all aspects for new solutions, system enhancements or process changes, covering the end-to-end serialization space, integrating local labelling solutions at the manufacturing sites with global serialization tools like SAP ATTP and Tracelink
• Determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and add value.
• Ensure operational processes are in place and executed for the respective systems
• Ensure supporting GxP relevant documentation is maintained and available

Major Accountabilities

• Keeps abreast with internal Technology systems and documentation requirements, standards (including quality management and IT security), regulatory environments / requirements (if applicable), Technology Service Portfolio and with industry best practices in leveraging technologies for the business and taking advantage of reusable products, solutions and services wherever applicable.
• Identifies and analyzes complex business requirements and processes, to further develop and implement a technology/system/product, to support ongoing operations, or execution of business processes
• Analyzes complex system and project performance data and provides ad-hoc and periodic reporting to the relevant stakeholders
• Conduct assessments of processes and data to detail requirements:

• Interview business partners, organize and run requirements sessions with groups of users.
• Analyze and model relevant business processes, rules and data relationships. Document xe2x80x9cas isxe2x80x9d best practice processes.
• Assist local project teams, designing a xe2x80x9cto bexe2x80x9d process and drive implementation of best practices. Demonstrate the impact of procedures and their effect on the organization. Critically review and recommend changes to processes in part or in their entirety.
• Lead authoring of the engineering and automation user requirements document and drive continuous improvement of the application.
• Define, drive and support collaboration with platform teams to maximize customer value by utilizing standard platform capabilities.
• Ensures consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, and testing & validation. Support validation and testing as appropriate and ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Product Delivery scope
• Provide strong contribution to the manufacturing and supply chain business lead as they prepare and implement (or upgrade) respective systems and introduce or drive change:

• Define and execute installation qualifications
• Contribute to outlining performance qualification testing and drive a global validation concept.
• Guide the business on creating key messages to be used in change management plans and training material content.
• Collaborate to define deployment and business value metrics that can be used to indicate successful roll out and use of new technology.
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging best practices for shop floor and engineering systems
• Supports the Associate Director Manufacturing Enterprise solutions in defining the Serialization System portfolio, strategy, roadmap and footprint based on gathered requirements and performance data

• Steady/Uninterrupted process flow and operational stability
• Completeness and accuracy of Business Process Model (BPM)
• Business process documentation up to date
• Act as key member of Track & Trace System projects supporting the project manager with technical expertise

Ideal BackgroundEducation:

• University degree in computer science, management information systems or related discipline

Languages:

• Fluent English written & spoken

Experience and Skills:5 years of working-expertise in the domain of discrete/process industry; preferable in Pharmaceutical industry, leveraging digital technology / big data, Multi-national global experience, Interactions with senior management, Influencing without authority, Collaborating across boundaries
3 years of experience with a proven track record in IT/OT project management
3 years experience with Computerized System Validation within the pharmaceutical industry * Advanced skills in: Business Analysis, Requirements Definition & Management, Analytical Thinking and Financial Modeling, Influencing and persuading, Managing challenges, Proactive thinking, Effective Communication, Developing and delivering presentations

• Has thorough understanding of process architecture and IT industry standard service lifecycle management practices
• Advanced skills to provide authoritative technical and professional guidance to external and/or internal stakeholders
• Interacts with a typically diverse internal and external audience and is required to interpret and communicate complex information
• Senior professional delivering strong technical expertise in the field of Manufacturing OT solutions e.g. Historian (OSI-PI), Track & Trace, SCADA/Automation, DCS
• Good understanding of methodologies for vertical integration between systems like ERP, MES, Historian, SCADA/DCS
• Solid understanding of working in GxP classified environments, CSV
