Join Columbia Threadneedle Investments, an Ameriprise Financial company, in this exciting new position. You will enable the delivery of our commercial strategy and asset raising via the support of a more tech enabled, insight led approach to Distribution (Sales & Client Management).This role will be primarily focused on supporting users of the Columbia Threadneedle Investments Distribution platform as they leverage it to engage clients in commercial and client service activities.The Distribution platform is built around Salesforce, and the successful candidate will need to support users in their use of Salesforce operations by working directly with end-users on case management support and issue resolution. You will also be responsible for configuration and modification to the broader ecosystem to support growing and evolving business needs. The role will partner side by side with the globally-based Technology teams on delivering enhancements to business processes and user experience.Key Responsibilities

  • Empowering users to effectively leverage Distribution Platform capabilities to execute business processes.
  • Enabling rapid, reliable and efficient resolution of issues through a high-quality user support model.
  • Improving user satisfaction through a proactive and innovative approach to communication and engagement.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to support the development and evolution of the Distribution Platform.
  • Driving user adoption through business process-aligned training and materials.
  • Acting as stewards of user experience, ensuring Distribution Platform capabilities are thoroughly tested and fit for purpose.
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, approval processes, and validation rules.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards.
  • Manage all users, permissions, and other security controls in Salesforce and related applications, including maintenance of user roles, profiles, security settings, and access settings. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules, and Security).
  • Adhere to internal DevOps processes and controls ensuring the robustness of the Salesforce test and release process.
  • Prepare user training materials when required.
  • Maintain and drive understanding of current Salesforce capabilities and stay up to date on latest Salesforce releases.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of Salesforce administration experience supporting an enterprise-level SFDC instance.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Good end-user support experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.com, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configuration and administration, including custom fields and objects, workflows, assignment rules, validation rules, formula fields, deployment, governor limits, roles, profiles, and permissions.
  • Passionate about Salesforce.com; regularly following Salesforce trends and best practices.
  • Experience in driving user adoption and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, a high degree of motivation, and deadline-driven productivity.
  • Thought leader to strategize and lead the change and the new initiatives for the global teams.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the asset management domain will be an advantage.
