We enable customer, pricing & promotion strategies across the global markets through our focused capabilities of Sales Execution, Trade & Strategic Revenue Management and Category Management. Teams within function are aligned to the above focused capabilities for each of our markets and each team member specializes in domains of Advanced Analytics, Visual Insights & Planogramming.We are a family of Data analysts, Business analysts and Business Consultants with diverse opinions, cultures and passions and are united by our desire to serve the world by making food people love. We apply the principles of analytics to everything we do, constantly experimenting to discover new ways to add value to our stakeholders, customers, and team members.Purpose of the roleThe Role will be responsible for supporting the business teams through creating/modifying reports using different BI tools across categories and regions in the US / International markets.The team member will independently and proactively support a wide variety of reports & presentation needs including building templates from scratch, initiating value adds and providing key insights by developing a strong category knowledge, proprietary tool proficiency and technical expertise. The role encompasses marrying information from different data platform to identify space to shelf optimization and share of shelf utilizing excel.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDeliver Standard Reports\xc2\xb7 Own & Deliver Ad hoc reporting creation request.\xc2\xb7 Elevate insights, identify business problems & opportunities.\xc2\xb7 Act as point-person (SME) & problem-solver for the stakeholders for multi-platform tools and databases.\xc2\xb7 Understand business requirements and transform into dynamic visualization dashboards within stipulated time-period or as per the business needs.\xc2\xb7 Master and own the monthly deliverables in the form of reports & presentations and send quality output in a timely manner.\xc2\xb7 Develop business and trade knowledge to enable conceptualizing R&A and help build valuable, crisp reports from scratch - turnkey reporting with HMM.\xc2\xb7 Contribute to the execution of complex, best-in-class reports and tools.\xc2\xb7 Avoid redundancy in reporting and call out best practices to the team.\xc2\xb7 Support Sales strategies leveraging various tools to build real-time performance dashboards/ reports and provide crisp insight.\xc2\xb7 Work alongside of peers and inculcate best practices and elevate the teams ability to tackle business questions with value adds.\xc2\xb7 Anticipate customer needs based on business trends and previous projects.Continuous Improvement mindset to deliver Executional Excellence, and Project/Stakeholder Management\xc2\xb7 Ensure TAT is upheld via awareness on process requirements, meeting benchmark time estimates and through articulate expectation settings with the stakeholder.\xc2\xb7 Eliminate Waste, Contribute to the Functional Productivity Goals\xc2\xb7 CI Mindset: develop and drive a lens of continuous improvement for the projects, process & larger team.\xc2\xb7 Attend trainings: Both recommended and self-initiated refresher trainings to stay up to date on tool dynamics and functional applications.\xc2\xb7 Project Management: Juggle multiple projects including long range projects and own project scoping, to trouble shooting, collaborating, to timely communication/iterations with peers and stakeholders to high impact completion and presentation.\xc2\xb7 Mentoring & Training new hires and Data Analyst to excel in their roles and outperform expectations.Building Stakeholder Relationships\xc2\xb7 Understand client needs/ customer request and see the larger picture to enable holistic solutions.\xc2\xb7 Ability to recommend and influence changes to process/procedures.\xc2\xb7 Explore business development opportunities and transform into tangible results.\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate challenges in an assertive manner.\xc2\xb7 Work through people and processes to accomplish superlative results.Articulate and comprehensive presentations to the audienceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory)
  • Intermediate/ High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to complete given tasks with accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced & changing environment.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset with technical agility.
  • Multitasking ability - learn and implement a host of tools/databases and softwares/platforms.
  • Basic/Intermediate with data manipulation and visualization packages (i.e. Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, Spotfire,GCP,DataPrep)
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with peers & stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory)/Masters.
  • Preferred Majors: Business Management, Statistics, Marketing, Retail, Economics
  • 2 - 3 years of Reporting experience
  • Experience with market data analysis tools is required (experience working with ACNielsen and IRI data preferred.)

  • CPG or retail experience highly valued including Customer planning & execution
  • Expertise in General Mills USRO Trade planning cycle & concepts
  • Expertise in POS & Shipment data, recognizing patterns for GMI categories and/or customers
  • Familiarity with syndicated data sets (Nielsen/IRI/SPINS), Financial data, trade system data
  • Experience partnering with teams to create visualizations & models (Tableau, financial, econometrics, machine learning)
  • Experience working with loyalty data like shopper card and/or household panel
