:POSITION SUMMARY:Business Analyst provides technical solutions to business problems through reporting for various Business units after analyzing and documenting requirements. Business Analyst provides guidance to the team to implement data strategy in an effective way by determining the requirements of a project or process, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESProfessionals in this group understand, build and standardize the data reporting process from a number of different relational databases. These professionals analyze issues and requirements necessary to deliver information accurately and timely. They follow complex algorithms to provide key information from large data sets by use of SQL procedures. These professionals will understand the reporting requirement, analyze, consult with the business & implement the right metrics and reporting formats, set right expectations with stake holders, deliver on time with zero errors. They identify opportunities to automate the regular and common reports globally with contextualization by region, user type and scope by having knowledge of multiple programming languages and BI tools including Python, Visual Basic, Microstrategy, (Data Engineers).EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor\'s degree in an analytical field such as Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology is required for this position

• 2+ Years of Business Intelligence Tools/ Data warehousing/ SQL/ MIS reporting is preferred

• Prior mortgage analytics experience is preferred

• The ideal candidate must be an effective communicator and problem solver

• Experience in writing PL/SQL procedures

• Knowledge of Algorithms and creating valid, legible code

• Knowledge of data technologies including large relational databases and data management

• Visual Basic / Python script knowledge a plus

• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Applications
