Job Title Business Analyst - Manager Role Summary & Role Description The Business analysts will be responsible to research & evaluate multiple options and propose solutions. Document requirements so that are actionable for the data development team. They will create mock data views for BI tools to consume. They may proposed visual for the BI team. Domain expertise: o Strong understanding of the Investment fund accounting, pricing and NAV production process and controls. o Hands on experience with State Street Bank\'s systems a plus. o Process improves tool sets (example: Lean) Core/Must have skills Must have excellent analytical and problem resolution skills, using Lean and other process improvement tool sets. Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills Ability to Concisely summarize and communicate recommendations to various levels of management Handle large and complex datasets in different formats - Strong excel skills Analyze and interpret data, producing clear and compelling reports for different audiences Create, document and analyze data models Ability to Test and verify data to understand the cause of data issues Identify opportunities for data management improvements Manipulate data and understands the underlying process details Create and maintain detailed documentation Adhere to standard operating procedures Analyze data reasonability to proactively identify potential problems and errors Ensure data integrity requirements are met, and data documentation is developed and maintained. Create data standards, establish data access security requirements, and are active in all levels of data management. Responsible for the integrity and quality of the data. (when it is PXO data) Good to have skills Communication Skills: can participate in working meetings, ask good questions, listen to the answers (really listen), and absorb what\'s being said. Problem-Solving Skills: Can participate a shared understanding of a problem, the possible solutions. Critical Thinking Skills: Must listen to stakeholder needs but also critically consider those needs and ask probing questions until the real needs are surfaced and understood. Must research topic to understand context. Documentation and Specification Skills: Ability to create clear and concise documentation Analysis Skills: The Business-Level: analyzing the business process (work flows and operations) The Information-Level: how data and information is stored and maintained Visual Modeling: Ability to create visual models that support the analysis, such as work-flow diagrams or wireframe prototypes Facilitation and Elicitation Skills: To discover the information to analyze, via group meetings, interviews, observations and research. Business Analysis Tools: Basic office tools such as Word, PowerPoint and Visio and strong excel skills.
