Job description About the department Digital Data & IT GBS (Global Business Service) was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Digital Data & IT in HQ (Head Quarter). From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 800+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT GBS (Global Business Service) is to be responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. The position This position holder will be responsible for delivering the Onsite IT support & services to all users of the individual Site and executing on all assigned IT activities and support for IT Infrastructure Management/Projects. As a part of the Local Onsite IT support team, ensure the day-to day IT operations availability at the site and when needed serve other sites within the Country. Follow all DD&IT guidelines, ensure compliance and seek improvements whenever feasible. Key responsibilities Perform On-Site IT services and support Be part of a team responsible for performing all the On-Site IT support activities and participate in the IT support for the site/locations connected to the current site/ location. Execute assigned tickets, analyse, liaise with incident managers & service providers to resolve issues, and manage problems within agreed timeframes, escalating issues requiring special attention. Collaborate with service providers and DD&IT global teams on assigned tickets requiring physical presence and/or infrastructure services. Follow up on and ensure IT security incidents are resolved in a timely manner. Ensure the quality of the IT services in accordance with Novo Nordisk requirements. Confirm proper documentation of the services in relevant IT Tools (e.g. ServiceNow/ KCS) Ensure user satisfaction Perform any other IT related tasks to support the business/function as assigned by the Lead or IT Operations manager Flexibility to work outside normal working hours on need basis Responsible for IT infrastructure Safeguard IT infrastructure service availability at the Site in close collaboration with GITO Infrastructure teams or SME\'s. ( Hub/Server Room, LAN/WAN, Servers/Switches, P2P Links, Printers, Vcon Devices, Storage & Security) Responsible together with the Local support team to support resolving of local critical infra incidents. Collaborate and engage with LoB on DD&IT related matters Interact as Local IT representative with affiliate user-community. Ensure usage and promotion the Service desk, self-services & shift-left. If required, support the distribution & translation of local communication on IT support topics & relevant Global IT communications as per guidelines Actively provide IT support during site events and/or local sales cycle meetings Onboarding and end-user training Ensure new employee onboarding and user training on relevant IT tools. Provide IT security awareness training per DD&IT standards, as required. Support customers with the use of corporate services such as 0365, teams, etc. Manage IT equipment resources Maintain and supply all local employees with the Standard IT equipment according to Global IT guideline. Fulfil Hardware requirements according to the business needs and Global IT standards. Maintain Hardware and Software assets & inventory in the relevant tools. Collaborate with hardware asset manager to ensure sufficient hardware inventory levels Assist and collaborate in IT project implementation Assist with the implementation of DD&IT driven IT project activities and/or new Corporate IT systems. To succeed in the role, you should have Master or bachelor\'s degree or comparable degree in IT or relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration) or Equivalent job experience Exposure on Service now and asset management 3+ years of IT or professional experience with IT Support, service management, service delivery and/or operational vendor management 2+ years of experience within the Pharma Industry, combined with general business understanding Should have worked on a Ticketing Tool (Service Now, BMC Remedy, HP service management ticketing tool etc.) Expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Power Point) Good technical knowledge in Microsoft, Window 10, 0365 environment, hardware infrastructure and IOS devices.
