The ideal candidate will ensure that healthcare projects and processes align with regulatory standards while driving operational improvements and enhancing patient outcomes. This role bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring efficient delivery of compliant healthcare solutions.Key Responsibilities:Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for healthcare IT systems and processes.Ensure requirements incorporate HIPAA compliance considerations and align with industry standards.Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on HIPAA regulations and ensure that all solutions maintain data security and privacy.Conduct regular assessments of processes and systems to ensure compliance with HIPAA and related healthcare laws.Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any potential regulatory gaps.Evaluate existing workflows in healthcare operations and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance.Identify and mitigate risks related to non-compliance in current and future systems.Work closely with healthcare providers, administrators, IT teams, and vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and understanding.Analyze healthcare data, focusing on patient information and data security.Develop and deliver reports that highlight compliance metrics, operational efficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.8+ Years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain.Hands-on experience with HIPAA compliance and knowledge of healthcare regulations.Strong understanding of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, such as EHR/EMR, claims management, or patient portals.Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).Exceptional communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
