Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst - Pune site

Genpact is looking for enthusiastic, Innovative and self motivated experienced individuals from SCM domain. If youve got an appetite for learning and would like to develop your skills as part of a forward-thinking and results-driven team. The successful candidate will join our team and help oversee daily operations involved in Fulfillment Process for an Aviation major Tubes and Ducts Material Value stream as Fulfillment Analyst.

This role requires presence in the manufacturing facility (Pune) as a business requirement.

Fulfillment Support team will manage below list of duties and will be responsible to support all aspects of reporting functions such as daily/weekly parts assigned to them and collaborate across upstream/downstream teams (Planning and Sourcing) and external customers to communicate and understand the requirement of critical needs from upstream. Make Schedule changes for their respective parts and review incoming order commits, validate material availability as per the requirement. Understanding the process of PO placements, PO reconciliation in ERP system. Team will be required to present regular updates on actions taken during scheduled team meetings with Stake holders/ leadership.

They are expected to be focused, have great attention to detail, be able to prioritize tasks and work as a team towards deadlines and seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities

Process requires the Fulfillment support team member to work with cross functional collaboration which includes Upstream (Demand/Supply Planning teams) and downstream Sourcing across multiple Partner Programs to complete the following tasks:

  • Validation of commits for PNs in the system
  • Expedite for past due/new commits for critical assembly/spares hardware
  • Understanding of BOM structure
  • PO Placement and Reconciliation
  • Weekly Reporting/trackers
  • Updating Allocations/Priorities for PNs
  • Collaborate with Pune site team for order processing, inventory and order tracking for critical PNs
  • Working closely with rest of team members in the process for completing deliverables
  • Sourcing queries/collaboration
  • Cross functional collaboration with upstream, downstream & Pune facility team
  • Reporting and dashboard creation
  • Actions will be completed with daily use of available tools & IT Systems such as ERP Advance Planning System (APS), Fulfillment Ops Advisor, Aviation Material Tracking, Spotfire tool and support central libraries with Critical Material reports to team members.
  • Encouraged to utilize Lean tools to identify process improvements for both off shore and on shore team
  • Mentoring new team members for coming up the learning curve in the process
  • Driving initiatives with internal team or process
Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications
  • Graduate with MBA/Engineering/Manufacturing background or equivalent with a strong academic record
  • Strong on MS-Office skills (Advanced Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Effective probing skills and analyzing / understanding skills
  • Any SCM certifications would be added advantage
  • Problem solving skills with customer centric approach Demonstrated proficiency with written English and with neutral English accent
  • Any programming language/coding will be an added advantage ex: MS access, Python or R (Not Mandatory)
  • Basic Knowledge about any Visualization tools like Spotfire, Power BI & Tableau (Not Mandatory)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Candidate should be comfortable with shift timings
  • Self-driven and motivated
Preferred qualifications
  • Graduate with MBA specialization with Logistics or SCM domain
  • Aviation background will be added advantage (Not mandatory)
