About the department

Global Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007 and is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, North America, International Operations (IO), Product Supply & GBS Bangalore. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.

The Position

As a Business Analyst you will drive the finance transformation to drive the new resource allocation model in SAP BW where in you will be responsible for unified procedure updates and overviews, develop further training materials, drive improvements for data collection/consolidation, ability to adapt existing financial data modelling and Power BI Dashboard, liaison, and coordination with stakeholders.

Job responsibilities:

• New resource allocation model:

• Act as the system owner for SAP BW FCM in collaboration with Finance partners and stakeholders .
• Implement IT change requests and improvements to enhance system efficiency.
• Working on the incident management to bridge the gap and understanding between IT and stakeholders.

• Data modelling and visualization in Power BI:

• Lead in driving the new initiatives in developing the data models and generating insights.
• Sustain and Operationalization of the Dashboards.

• SAP ERP Integration and HANA Project:

• Lead and drive the SAP ERP Integration Project in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with HQ to ensure successful integration and seamless data flow.
• Participate in the change management initiatives and contribute to the SAP HANA S/4 Project track.

• Budget Support and Adhoc Tasks:

• Provide support in budget-related activities, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Handle adhoc tasks as required to support management .

• Process Documentation and Training:

• Maintain up-to-date process, user guideline, and technical documents.
• Deliver training to stakeholders and new colleagues within the team.

Experience and Skill Sets

• Managed or part of finance transformation/projects/implementation in experience (5-6 years).
• Must have in-depth knowledge of SAP BW or S/4 HANA with relevant FP&A or Accounting background.
• Preferred working experience in VBA (in Excel), Power BI data modelling and visualization
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
• Innovative mindset, passionated in process excellence, technology, and finance transformation.
• Ability to present complex data in a clear, simple, and structured fashion.
• Pro-activeness, solution oriented, ability to handle independently and prioritize several tasks.
