We want to make insights from earth observation data accessible to all. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our team at SatSure. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data and business processes, identifying trends and opportunities, and making recommendations to improve business performance. The Business Analyst will work closely with the business team and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of new systems, processes, and programs. Roles and Responsibilities Business Analysis: Conduct research and analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, workflows, and system specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new systems, processes, and programs. Assist in the development and execution of project plans, timelines, and budgets. Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops to gather feedback and requirements. Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to track business performance. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed. Project Management: Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to management and stakeholders. Monitor project progress and performance, identify risks and issues, and develop solutions. Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure quality control of deliverables. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes. What we are looking for: 1-2 years of experience in designing, running, and presenting data analysis in a fast moving startup environment Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis, modeling, and reporting. Strong understanding of business processes, workflows, and systems. Proven experience in writing complex SQL queries, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint etc) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik etc) Proficiency in developing reports across multiple systems You are an excellent problem solver and can magically connect the dots between various data sets with ease You are self motivated with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. You are excited working with high amounts of ambiguity and chaos as you take ownership to develop innovative analysis and insights You can take a complex data analysis and effectively communicate the results across various levels and teams of the organization Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Experience in Agile methodology is a plus.
