Job description - The Faculty member for Business Accounting is responsible for delivering high-quality education in the field of business accounting to students. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background and practical experience in accounting, financial management, and related areas.

Position Title: Faculty in Business Accounting

Department: Business Administration

Reports To: Academic Head

Location: Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instruction:
• Develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars in business accounting, financial accounting, and related subjects.
• Prepare and update course materials, syllabi, and instructional content to ensure they are current and relevant.
• Utilize various teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement.

Curriculum Development:

• Design and revise curriculum to meet industry standards and academic requirements.
• Integrate practical applications and software tools such as Tally, Tally ERP, GST, and ITR into the coursework.

Student Assessment and Evaluation:

• Create and administer assessments, assignments, and examinations to evaluate student performance.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their understanding and skills.

Mentoring and Advising:

• Offer academic advising and mentorship to students, guiding them in their academic and career development.
• Assist students with research projects, internships, and placement opportunities.

Research and Professional Development:

• Engage in research activities and contribute to scholarly publications in the field of business accounting.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting standards, software, and industry practices.
• Participate in professional development programs and continuous learning opportunities.

Administrative Duties:

• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of an M.Com or MBA with a specialization in Accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial accounting, Tally, Tally ERP, GST, and ITR.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students.

Experience:

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• 3 years in industry/teaching skill courses
