Position: Business Accountant Location: Thodupuzha,Kerala India Reports To: Senior Finance Manager Job Summary: The Business Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts function for our modern retail trade customer, ensuring timely invoicing and efficient collection processes. Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete accounts receivable cycle for modern retail trade customers, including invoice creation, order processing, and credit control.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing according to agreed-upon terms.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
- Collect outstanding receivables.
- Analyze customer payment trends and identify potential credit risks.
- Prepare reports on accounts receivable performance, including aging reports and collection forecasts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information.
- Visit customers to resolve any billing or collection issues.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations.

- 3-4 years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably within the Food FMCG industry or with modern retail trade players or Bank in Sales, Insurance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in software (SAP or willingness to learn the same) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
