The candidate hired for this position will have the opportunity to get exposure to providing service on different energy modeling projects, help with R&D for ECO Matrix application, dealing with clients on live projects as a result acquire technical skills required for their future.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Work on several building energy modeling projects using different energy simulation software like eQuest, Design Builder, IESVE, HAP, etc.

- Responsible for validating the energy savings from energy conservation measures for new and existing facilities projected through energy modeling.

- Utilize regression analysis and other appropriate methods to develop energy consumption baselines and adjustments

- Perform energy modeling on a variety of projects for code compliance, projecting energy and GHG savings along with lifecycle analysis and return on investment.

- Deliver broad and customer-specific insights through written reports and meetings/presentations.

- Understanding the core of the ECO Matrix application and working on live projects.

- Working with building owners, architects, and other decision-makers to successfully incorporate energy efficiency through our pool of energy modeling services offered.

- Provide news and content on energy market developments, with technical analysis of market trends to assist the sales team and customers

Qualification:

BE Environmental/Mechanical or equivalent qualification.

MSc/post-graduation in building sustainability or a related field is preferred.

Any additional course on building science or HVAC or equivalent skillset will be preferred.

Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Engineering or relevant field required.

Skills required:

Working knowledge of any energy modeling/CAD/Revit software is an asset.

General understanding of building thermodynamics and systems

Review and interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings to generate energy models.

Knowledge of building sciences, and construction is preferred.

Should be proficient with MS Excel.

Familiarity with LEED or other green building standards and ASHRAE codes will be an asset.

Passion for environmental sustainability

Self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial sense

Strong English vocabulary for client interaction
