This Unit performs a 360 degrees role in designing solutions which are customer focused, operationally efficient, risk conscious, cost effective and regulatory compliant.
About the Role
This role plays a very critical role in Treasury BSG Unit to design and implement technology solutions related to 1. Murex greenfield Implementation \xef\xbf\xbd Back Office workflows and Accounting 2. Designing of Settlements and Confirmation workflows for Forex and Derivatives in new system Murex 3. Designing of Swift workflows in Murex with Swift matcher 4. Accounting and Position Accounting set up in Murex for Forex and Derivatives 5. Static data workflow and back-office reports 6. Nostro funding and nostro cash management workflow 7. Back office set up for New Treasury Products Implementations 8. Ongoing business and regulatory requirements 9. New System Set up to automate and rationalize processes 10. Migration of set-ups from one system to another 11. Issues resolution through technology solutions
Key Responsibilities
\xef\xbf\xbd Preparation of test scenarios and detail test cases for Murex testing for back-office module \xef\xbf\xbd Executing the test cases and documenting the results \xef\xbf\xbd Be involved in all phases of Murex Implementation and support post production issues \xef\xbf\xbd Business Requirements/Solutions analysis for any new Business initiative or customizations in the existing solutions \xef\xbf\xbd To prepare Business Requirement Documents and Functionality Specifications documents \xef\xbf\xbd Preparation of test cases and other documents \xef\xbf\xbd Functionality testing (UAT) of relevant applications/solution \xef\xbf\xbd Resolution of all functional issues/bugs in the systems \xef\xbf\xbd To address impact of regulatory changes on the system functionalities and ensure compliance \xef\xbf\xbd To have interactions with Technology partners/vendors with respect to system functionalities, product roadmap etc. \xef\xbf\xbd Execution and tracking project activities as assigned (projects of all scale) \xef\xbf\xbd Provide periodic updates/MIS to seniors on the progress made
Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is: \xef\xbf\xbd CA/MBA from premier institute with 2-8 years\xef\xbf\xbd experience \xef\xbf\xbd Project management / system implementation basic idea with ability to learn quickly \xef\xbf\xbd Good understanding of Forex and Derivative product and related back-office activities \xef\xbf\xbd Sound understanding of position concept and accounting for Forex and Derivatives
Role Proficiencies:
For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following: Knowledge \xef\xbf\xbd Treasury domain \xef\xbf\xbd Understanding of treasury and treasury products (FX and Derivatives). Knowledge of Fixed Income, Money Market will be added advantage \xef\xbf\xbd Understanding of back-office activities for Forex and Derivative \xef\xbf\xbd Prior experience of working in Murex will be added advantage \xef\xbf\xbd Inclination towards understanding technology and functioning of various system/ application
Skills \xef\xbf\xbd Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must \xef\xbf\xbd Project Management and execution skills \xef\xbf\xbd Good analytical skills\xef\xbf\xbd Understand problem and arrive at best possible solutions and implement the same \xef\xbf\xbd Good at Excel, Power-point
Abilities \xef\xbf\xbd Ability to work effectively across different stakeholders \xef\xbf\xbd Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals \xef\xbf\xbd Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously \xef\xbf\xbd Ability to conceptualize and implement technology solutions which are stable, scalable and reliable. \xef\xbf\xbd Ability to communicate with Business stakeholders and software vendor partners
