Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Broadband Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot broadband services for our customers. The ideal candidate will ensure that all installations are carried out efficiently, diagnose and repair issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This role is crucial in delivering reliable internet services and providing technical support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install broadband equipment, including routers, modems, and related hardware, at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair broadband issues such as connectivity problems, slow speeds, or equipment malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance on broadband systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct tests to verify that systems are working properly after installation or repair.
• Respond to customer queries and provide clear guidance on how to use broadband services effectively.
• Collaborate with the network team to identify and resolve larger-scale network issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during all installations.
• Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations for reporting and quality control.
• Stay updated on new technologies, equipment, and best practices in broadband installation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in broadband installation, maintenance, or a similar technical role.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of broadband technologies (fiber, cable, DSL), wiring, and networking equipment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Skills: Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• License: Valid driving license for traveling to customer locations.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in broadband or telecommunications are a plus.
