Bachelors degree with relevant experience on the services industry.

Key job responsibilities Manage the Books Risk Management Operations team
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures and serve as a role model to employees
Lead planning and execution of SLAs, capacity, and workflow plans for single/multiple functional areas
Identify opportunities and risks, dives deep, and works with internal and external teams to implement solutions
Innovate by driving continuous enhancements and operational efficiencies across all process areas Leverage technology and process innovation to bring continuous improvement to the operation (scalability, efficiency, scope, etc.).
Identify and drive opportunities for cross-functional projects working across teams
Influence key stakeholders to ensure that resources needed are prioritized to achieve quantifiable results, monitoring the effectiveness after project delivery
Organize team structure for multiple functional areas to ensure scalability for present and future volume needs
Communicate effectively with senior management and leaders across the organization to determine priorities and direction
Support development of the hiring strategy for teams; leads hiring plans and execution in partnership with HR for L5 and below positions
Act as a mentor to managers at the 4 and 5 levels. Coach and develop managers to effectively develop their employee; develop team to meet the scalability needs of present and future organizations; maintain succession plans for teams
Create goal-setting, performance management, and retention strategies across multiple teams
Continuously build network of talent inside and outside of company
Effectively coach and give feedback to direct reports to help develop talent and support career development
Be prepared to jump on a call and present to senior leadership at a moments notice.
Link all the programs to business metrics and built solutions keeping that in mind.
This position requires a candidate with the proven ability to drive process improvements and new process creation as well as the ability to keep pace with our growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment.

2-3 years Management experience in publishing, customer service or similar production environment with a demonstrated history of delivering innovative solutions to operational issues.
Experience automating a complex process.
Experience working in startup and internet technologies.
Demonstrated history of developing employees to take on higher levels of responsibility.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done; developing functional requirements to create new tools or refine existing ones, with a focus on transaction automation.
Ability to construct data-driven analyses of new problem spaces.
Ability to develop business cases with policy and/or implementation recommendations to handle new risks, including scaling with software.
Technical and analytical aptitude, including knowledge of statistical tools and a history of working with engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
Organizational planning/development and business judgment.
Knowledge of statistical concepts and their application to operations along with expertise in the use of technical/statistical tools to drive quality and process improvement
A creative and analytical mind that thrives in a data-driven environment
