The TSG Ops team supports both primary and secondary markets on 2 Exchanges in India. MS is looking to set up the GIFT City Operations where resources are required to have good knowledge of regulations, market practices, coordinate with traders, setup and manage client relationships, work on exchange applications to monitor margins and collaterals, coordinate with Exchanges, Agent Banks for operational issues, Performing activities like Trade Booking, sending confirmations, perform regulatory reporting.The team will be coordinating across various departments like Legal & Compliance, FCG, Tax department, risk team in their day to day functioning. The team interacts with clients based in different regions, local custodian banksPrimary Responsibilities

• Trade Support Management
• Collateral/ Margins Management
• Market Risk Management for Equity/Listed & Currency Derivatives/Bonds etc.
• Coordinate with Risk/ Client Relationship teams
• Settlements
• Accounting Knowledge up to balance sheet preparation
• Ability to understand accounting breaks and resolving them

Good to Have

• Trade Booking (Trade bookings, trade confirmations, exchanging the confirmations on system applications etc)
• Communicating with the Traders, Custodians, Brokers, Clearing Members and ensuring that the trade is booked timely and accurately
• Regulatory Reporting

Minimum: 5-10 years of relevant experience in an Fund / InvestmentKey responsibilities: -
Set up Operations to support AIF / AMC and regional flows
Open bank / demat accounts
Set up custodian relationships
Set up processes to understand the functioning of the AIF
Understand and evaluate the regulatory requirements for the AIF considering this will be new exchange, new regulator, new location and new team.
