Job Title: Branch ManagerDepartment: Branch BankingReports to: Regional Manager / Area ManagerJob Summary: The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bank branch, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving business targets, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations. This role requires strong leadership, business development skills, and an in-depth understanding of banking products and services.Key Responsibilities:Branch Operations:

• Oversee daily branch operations and ensure efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, vault management, and security procedures.

Customer Service:

• Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer complaints promptly.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Promote a customer-centric culture within the branch.

Business Development:

• Achieve branch targets for deposits, loans, and other financial products.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers.

Team Management:

• Lead, coach, and motivate branch staff to achieve their individual targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Organize training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

Sales and Marketing:

• Promote and sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to increase branch visibility and customer base.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Ensure branch operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
• Implement measures to mitigate operational risks.

Financial Management:

• Monitor and manage branch profitability.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
• Ensure effective cost management within the branch.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong sales and business development abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in banking software and MS Office.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a small finance bank or community banking.
• Knowledge of local market conditions and customer base.
• Ability to speak [local language] is a plus.
