Our goal is to increase current trip volumes by 5 times in the next year.While we process close to 4% of the country\'s freight on our software platform, our aim is to to get to 20% by 2028. And, we want to create a stronghold in our marketplace business which currently is highly fragmented.About the Role :City Head - Pune will be the face of our marketplace business for the city and would own PnL for the region. He/She will handle all aspects of the business (Demand Creation, Fulfilment, Trip tracking, Payment Collection, Document pickups, etc). The current team of Pune would report to this person and his/her reporting will be to the Director-Business.Key Responsibilities :- Partner (LSPs and truckers) Management : Build relationships with existing partners, build right pipelines and acquire new vendors based on their business potential and fit in business model.- Face of the company : First point of contact for new leads/opportunities and do first discovery calls with prospects.- Always stay neutral : Act as a bridge between Demand (Logistic Service Providers) and Supply (Trucker) partners when it comes to feedback.- Team handling : Build and develop teams to achieve productivity targets and have the willingness to learn continuously.- Drive process based operations : Ensure defined SOPs are followed and suggest tweaks required in existing processes to improve efficiency.- Cost Optimisation : Own the costs incurred in the region and take calls with long term visionKey Competencies for the Role :- Excellent People Manager- Customer-centric approach- Have strong communication and negotiation skills- Take data backed decisionsPreferred Qualifications :- MBA with at-least 3+ years of experience- Experience in Supply Chain Solutions, Logistics, Telematics, Consulting and Domain expertise- Experience in Contract Management, Vendor acquisition and Management, Business Development or Growth Management- Familiarity with Order Management practicesIncentives to work on this role :- Immense growth potential (personal & professional) as you will be assuming a role akin to a regional CEO.- Be part of the process improvement journey of a key vertical of Client- Have the opportunity to work with data inputs from other vertical and strategic partner (Tata Motors) (ref:updazz.com)
