We are seeking an independent, experienced and dynamic Voice and Accent Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the spoken English proficiency and determining whether their communication skills are suitable for servicing US and UK markets. The trainer will then conduct comprehensive voice and accent training sessions to align the candidates' language skills with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate the spoken English of potential employees to assess their ability to communicate with clients in the US or UK markets.
• Conduct voice recordings, mock calls, and role-plays to gauge clarity, pronunciation, grammar, and fluency.
• Provide detailed feedback on areas for improvement, focusing on accent, enunciation, intonation, and overall communication style.
• Design and deliver voice and accent training modules to help candidates adapt to American or British accents.
• Conduct interactive training sessions on pronunciation, neutralizing accents, pacing, and clarity of speech.
• Help trainees develop a customer-friendly communication style and the ability to handle client interactions in a professional manner.
• Track the progress of trainees and provide one-on-one coaching where necessary to meet industry standards.
• Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and evaluation tools that reflect the requirements of American and UK customer service markets.
• Prepare reports on the success of training programs and individual progress.
• Work closely with management to ensure that trainees meet the necessary communication skill standards to serve international clients.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Voice and Accent Trainer, preferably in the BPO sector.
• Expertise in both American and British accents.
• Strong understanding of cultural and linguistic differences between the US, UK, and other nationalities
• Ability to create and implement effective training programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with tools for voice and language assessments.
• Bachelors degree in communication, English, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
• Prior experience training non-native English speakers.
• Knowledge of English proficiency levels and accent neutralization techniques.
• Familiarity with the customer service industry, particularly for US and UK markets.
