Boq Estimation
Job Description
a) Study all construction drawings/scheme drawings/preliminary designs and drawings b) Understand the requirement from Sales Manager/Channel Partner/CMT c) Calculate all Steel and Non-Steel quantities (for Steel take help of Nest-In Design team). d) Prepare a complete BOQ (Including Concrete, Rebar etc..) e) Coordinate with SP/SM for supporting in preparation of price offer. f) Knowledge of IS codes for estimation. g) Understanding tender documents and arriving at deliverables & cost impact h) Analysis of rates, knowledge of CPWD Schedules and Analysis i) Focus on execution cost, PMC cost and other latent cost including project buffer. j) Coordinate with external stakeholders like third party detailers, designers, Solution Partners, Component Manufacturers etc Skills Minimum B. Tech or Equivalent in Civil Engineering. M. Tech in Engineering Preferred. Recommended schools are: IITs / NITs / other highly-rated schools of a similar profile in India and outside India Relevant experience: Minimum 5 year prefab Estimate role Light gauge steel Frame structure/ PEB/ Structural steel and modular steel structure Technical competencies: Auto CAD, MS Office.
