Operations Manager

Company Background:
BookMyForex, headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, is India\'s largest online retail forex marketplace. Established in 2011, it offers forex cards, currency exchange, and outbound remittances through a network of 5000+ partner banks and money exchange locations across 650+ Indian cities.

Objective:

Manage a 100+ member team to ensure efficient transaction processing, high customer satisfaction, and compliance. Achieve these objectives through creative process improvements and effective people management.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure stringent control over company TATs.

- Safely and efficiently manage branch operations.

- Continuously review and optimize operational processes, including currency distribution, card funding, and wire transfers.

- Implement a vendor management program for revenue maximization and TAT consistency.

- Introduce productivity benchmarks and performance review processes.

- Create training manuals, oversee training sessions, and track training efficiency.

- Achieve full control over card funding operations and ensure daily card balance reconciliation.

- Identify repetitive tasks for automation and tech-enabled process improvement.

- Oversee currency risk management and regulatory compliance.

- Monitor and optimize transaction execution for efficiency and liquidity management.

- Generate insightful reports for informed decision-making.

- Collaborate with IT for technology enhancements.

- Cultivate and manage vendor relationships for favorable terms.

- Stay updated on global financial markets and trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 10-15 years of operations experience, preferably with high-volume transactions.

- Proven track record of driving innovation, automation, and productivity.

- Past forex experience is a plus but not essential.

- Minimum Graduation/PG Required.
