Key Responsibilities

About the Role




XRI are seeking either a full-time or part-time Bookings Centre Agent for our radiology bookings call hub located in Maroochydore. As the voice of the organisation, you will often be the first point of contact for many patients and referrals in this fast-paced role as you book in procedures and appointments for any of our practices and provide exceptional customer service. Note: the part-time hours on offer are 30 hours/week across Monday-Friday.




This role will allow you to leverage your strong experience in bookings within a call centre or medical admin environment to directly support the delivery of patient bookings with them calling in as well as responding to app bookings, online and email queries, fax referrals and voicemail replies.




Reporting to the Team Leader, your key responsibilities include:




- Answering telephone calls in a courteous, professional, and sensitive manner.


- Scheduling appointments for our patients using our state-of-the-art RIS system


- Managing appointments to maximize clinic efficiencies


- Quoting relevant fees and Medicare rebates to patients


- Informing our patients of preparation requirements prior to their visit


- Working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of Receptionists, Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers, Nuclear Medicine Technologists and administrative staff.

About You




- A high level of communication and patient care skills - welcoming and friendly!


- Experience a fast-paced high-volume call environment


- Accurate data entry and an attention to detail


- Integrity, respect and professionalism


- Background ideally in Radiology, Medical or associated Health care industry or call center


- A "can do" attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff and professional easily


- Experience with booking programs - medical programs ideally
