Position - Financial Controller:
We are seeking a talented and experienced executive who will engage with senior stakeholders and be part of a growing company. The role reports directly into the CEO and COO of the organization, as well as externally with investor stakeholders.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations of the company.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the B-Plan, budgets and financial forecasts and report variances on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Monitoring Working Capital requirements, Capital Expenditures and adherence against budgets
- Timely cash-flow analysis with detailed monitoring of the company\'s cash position.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Processing, reviewing, and distributing monthly management accounts to the senior management team, and as applicable to the Board and shareholders
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory taxation and statutory requirements pertaining to each of the regions of operations of the business
- Treasury management, cashflow reporting and long-term planning to meet the needs of the business
- Responsible for liaising with internal auditors to ensure adequacy and relevance of audit coverage, and prompt audit process. This includes keeping company records organized and readily available for examination, coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Work with the senior management team and investors to prepare financial plans for raising capital and manage the due diligence process.
Job requirements:
- A qualified CA/MBA in Finance who comes with an experience and management from an e-commerce or retail company.
- Additional C.S. degree preferred. Experience in Indian law is a bonus
- 8 - 12 years\' financial management experience - preferably in an e-commerce or retail facing company
- Strong knowledge of project-based accounting software
- Impeccable mathematics and analytical skills
- Able to meet tight deadlines as needed
- Excellent communication & computer skills
- Worked with an organization that has raised either venture or debt capital.
