A body shop advisor's responsibilities include:
• Customer service : Providing excellent customer service by understanding the customer's needs and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Repair estimates : Evaluating damaged vehicles to determine repair costs and providing accurate quotes to customers
• Scheduling : Scheduling appointments and managing repair timelines
• Coordination : Coordinating with technicians and customers to facilitate vehicle repairs
• Record keeping : Keeping records of repair orders, invoices, and customer interactions
• Inventory : Managing inventory levels at the body shop, including tracking stock movements and maintaining a clean work environment
• Collaboration : Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
• Post-service follow-up : Conducting post-service follow-up after vehicle delivery to check customer satisfaction
Body shop advisors should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
