Required Skills and Competencies: • Control-M administration, installation, and configuration.
• Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery setups.
• Proficiency in job automation tools, Control-M AAPI, and Control-M reporting.
• Scripting expertise in Shell, HTML, and Python.
• Handled Priority issues related to Control-M. Document technical solutions and build SOPs for the monitoring team.
• Knowledge on Linux, Unix and Windows environment is mandatory.
• Experience in control M reporting facility.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving scheduling issues.
• Analytical skill to understand user requirements, procedures. and problems to automate processing or to improve existing job flows and schedules systems
• Knowledge on ServiceNow ITSM tool Basic understanding of scripting and batch knowledge Fair knowledge of Windows, Linux & Mainframe operating systems Mainframe Z/0S basic knowledge will be more preferable Good foundation of networking concepts
• Very good communication & coordination skills Very good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Self-driven, committed, process Oriented and able to handle challenging situations. Open to take-up additional responsibilities as and when needed.
Roles and Responsibilities: Technical Knowledge: • Strong experience with BMC Control-M v 6.3/6.4/7/8/9/9.0.19/9.20/9.21
• Experience in Managing Project Deliverables, Reports Management & Infrastructure setup.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with Mainframe Z/OS and basic networking concepts is a plus.
Control-M Administration: • + BMC ControlManage complex infrastructure and environments using BMC Control-M.
+ Schedule jobs, monitor and resolve issues related to backups, applications, and file transfers.
+ Administer Control-M calendars to ensure accurate run dates.
+ Handle Control-M upgrades and agent/plugin installations.

Automation and Scripting: • Develop and automate workflows and reports using shell scripting, HTML, and Python.
• Create and maintain pre-check and post-check jobs within workflows.
• Leverage Control-M AAPI for enhanced automation capabilities.

Scheduling and Monitoring: • Proficient in job scheduling and monitoring across development, test, and production environments.
• Use advanced scheduling techniques and calendar configurations for critical scenarios.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in job scheduling and automation.

Project Coordination: • Manage project deliverables, reporting, and infrastructure setup.
• Coordinate knowledge transitions from clients to offshore teams.
• Build and maintain SOPs for efficient monitoring and issue resolution.

System Setup and Maintenance: • Install and configure Control-M agents, plugins, and workloads.
• Monitor and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery setups.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide technical solutions for recurring issues.

• Stakeholder and Team Management:
• Effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders to meet deliverables.
• Assist team members in resolving complex technical challenges.
