Position: Block Coordinator - Scholarship Awareness Program

Location: All Districts & Blocks of Bhagalpur, Bihar

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (Fresher-Friendly)

Role Overview:

As a Block Coordinator, you will lead scholarship awareness initiatives within your district, aiming to help students access educational funding opportunities. Additionally, you'll guide them on insurance options that provide financial security for their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Awareness Program Execution:
• Design and schedule scholarship and educational insurance awareness sessions with schools and local stakeholders.
• Use community outreach, meetings, and social media to share details on scholarships and student insurance benefits.
• Organize workshops covering eligibility criteria, application processes, deadlines, and how insurance can support educational goals.
• Support & Guidance:
• Provide students and parents with resources such as brochures, pamphlets, and application assistance for both scholarships and insurance plans.
• Conduct counseling sessions to guide students through scholarship applications, required documentation, and understanding insurance benefits for educational continuity.
• Progress Monitoring:
• Track student engagement and application submissions, maintaining records of participation.
• Report on program outcomes and suggest areas for improvement to boost scholarship and insurance uptake.
• Networking:
• Partner with local government bodies, NGOs, insurance providers, and educational institutions to expand outreach and enhance program impact.
• Follow-up & Motivation:
• Ensure students have completed their applications and support them with any follow-up requirements.
• Share stories of scholarship recipients and students benefiting from educational insurance to motivate and inspire others.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Education: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or above; GDU/MSW preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1-year relevant experience.
• Additional: Must own a bike and hold a valid driving license.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: ?15,000 - ?25,000 (includes TA and incentives)
• Insurance Coverage: Educational insurance assistance for program beneficiaries.
• Benefits: Yearly performance review, leave encashment, 2 holidays per month.
