  • Manage the overall operations of the bistro, including staffing, scheduling, and training of employees.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained and customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and meet financial targets.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion control to maintain consistent standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to create and update menus, considering customer preferences and seasonal availability.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations and food handling practices.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance and support to staff members.
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to sales, inventory, and personnel.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bistro Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating a positive dining experience.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, customers, and vendors.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with restaurant management software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
