Job Title : MEP BIM Engineer and Modeller

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP BIM Engineer and Modeller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing 3D models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This role requires expertise in MEP systems, as well as proficiency in BIM tools to ensure accurate and efficient design and coordination across various project phases.

Key Responsibilities :

BIM Modeling :

• Develop detailed 3D models of MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, etc.) using Revit and other BIM tools.
• Ensure models are accurate, aligned with project specifications, and meet the standards for constructability and coordination.
• Integrate and collaborate with other disciplines' models (architectural, structural) to avoid clashes and conflicts.

Coordination and Clash Detection :

• Perform clash detection and resolution between MEP systems and other disciplines (architectural, structural, etc.).
• Assist in coordinating MEP designs with other teams, ensuring smooth integration within the overall project.
• Produce coordination drawings, clash reports, and clash detection reports for stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting :

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and documentation, including 2D plans, sections, and schematics from 3D models.
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), quantities, and other documentation for procurement and construction processes.
• Provide regular project updates, including 3D model revisions, clash detections, and design modifications.

BIM Standards and Processes :

• Adhere to BIM standards, protocols, and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across all models.
• Implement best practices for model management and version control, ensuring all team members are working on the latest design iterations.

Collaboration :

• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Collaborate with other BIM professionals and project teams to optimize MEP designs and workflows.

Software and Tools :

• Utilize Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other industry-standard BIM software to create and manage MEP models.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in BIM technologies, tools, and industry standards.

Quality Assurance and Control :

• Review and check MEP designs for compliance with local regulations, standards, and codes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure that BIM models are coordinated and clash-free before final submission.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM Engineer/Modeller with a focus on MEP systems.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related tools.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, building systems, and design processes.
• Understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Familiarity with clash detection and model coordination.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
