Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

BIM MEP Trainer

with a

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

to conduct professional training sessions on

Building Information Modeling (BIM) for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)

systems. The ideal candidate should have expertise in

BIM software such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP

, and experience in MEP design, coordination, and project execution. The trainer will be responsible for delivering hands-on training, developing course materials, and mentoring students and professionals in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Delivery:

Conduct

comprehensive training sessions

on

BIM MEP

, covering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system design. Train students on

BIM workflows, Revit MEP modeling, clash detection, and MEP coordination

. Provide hands-on sessions on

HVAC design, piping, ductwork, electrical layouts, and plumbing systems

using BIM tools.

Curriculum Development:

Develop and update

training materials, presentations, exercises, and real-world projects

. Ensure course content aligns with

industry standards, latest software versions, and best practices

.

Practical Guidance:

Guide learners through

MEP modeling, documentation, and clash detection using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks

. Provide

troubleshooting support

for technical challenges faced by learners.

Assessment and Feedback:

Evaluate students through

assignments, projects, and practical tests

. Provide feedback and mentoring to

enhance technical and problem-solving skills

.

Industry Insights:

Share knowledge on

BIM applications in construction, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and facility management

. Train students on

collaboration and coordination techniques for multidisciplinary BIM projects

.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

(or a related field).

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in

Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and BIM 360

. Knowledge of

MEP design standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, NEC, etc.)

. Experience in

HVAC design, ductwork, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical system modeling

. Understanding of

BIM Level of Development (LOD), clash detection, and project coordination

.

Training Experience:

Prior experience as a Trainer or Instructor in

BIM MEP or related fields

.

Soft Skills:

Strong

communication and presentation skills

. Ability to

explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner

.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in

Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, or related BIM software

. Industry experience in

MEP design, construction, or facility management

.

Work Environment:

Ability to

conduct both online and in-person training

. Willingness to

travel for corporate and institutional training

if required.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?100,000.00 per month
