Job Summary: BIM CO-ORDINATOR -MEP

The BIM Coordinator for Interior Fit-Out projects is responsible for managing and

coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and workflows throughout

the project lifecycle. The role involves ensuring the integration and collaboration of all

project stakeholders, maintaining BIM standards, and optimizing design and

construction processes to enhance eDiciency and quality.

Work location: Bengaluru (first six months will be in Chennai)

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Management:

Manage and coordinate the BIM models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and

compliance with project standards and client requirements.

Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and

stakeholders.

Model Coordination:

Integrate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and interior design models.

Conduct clash detection and resolution processes

Ensure that BIM models are updated and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Control:

Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks on BIM models to ensure

accuracy and compliance with project standards.

Identify and mitigate potential issues or discrepancies within the models.

Documentation and Standards:

Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure

seamless integration of BIM processes.

Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.

Communicate eDectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding

of BIM-related requirements and deliverables.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably in interior fit-out

projects.

Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant

tools.

Strong understanding of BIM standards, processes, and workflows.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with BIM 360, Dynamo, and other advanced BIM tools.

Knowledge of interior design principles and practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?700,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
