About the Role: As a BIM Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and managing BIM models for various infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, tunnels, and utilities. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed design drawings, producing quantity schedules, and ensuring compliance with BIM standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile projects in the Commercial, Residential, Hospitality, Healthcare, Retail, and Institutional sectors.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Develop BIM models for Structural (including Steel Structure & Rebar modeling) and Architectural disciplines within infrastructure projects.
• Prepare BIM models with various levels of detail.
• Produce quantity schedules with all required attributes from Revit.
• Create accurate and detailed design drawings, maintaining high quality and uniform standards.
• Create parametric and non-parametric families.
• Manage submissions and ensure proper QA/QC protocols are implemented.
• Follow and implement BIM standards and establish the BIM project workflow as per the checklist.
• Report regularly to the BIM Lead/BIM Coordinator on work progress.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and manage clash detection and resolution processes.
• Manage and train a team of junior modelers
Qualifications:
• Diploma/Degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering.
• Certified course in BIM software.
• Over 5 years of experience in a BIM environment, particularly in infrastructure projects.
Required Skills:
• Understanding of design specifications and construction documentation.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Navisworks or other parametric tools is an advantage.
• Flexible attitude in an environment with frequently changing deadlines and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
