Job description BOM Executive (Bill of Materials)

(JD): The BOM Executive is responsible for creating accurate Cost Estimate of material based on 2D & 3D drawings and specifications Collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure seamless material flow. Maintain detailed records of components, quantities, and costs. Verify and update BOMs as needed during the product lifecycle. 1. Key Result Areas (KRAs): BOM Accuracy: Ensuring precise and error-free bills of material. Material Optimization: Identifying cost-effective materials and minimizing waste. Collaboration: Working closely with design, production, and procurement teams. Timeliness: Meeting deadlines for BOM creation and updates. 1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): BOM Accuracy Rate: Percentage of BOMs without errors or discrepancies. Material Cost Savings: Calculated by comparing actual material costs to estimate costs. On-Time BOM Updates: Percentage of BOMs updated within specified timeframes. Efficiency: Number of BOMs processed per day or week. Role: Cost Estimator Industry Type: Modulars Furniture (Interiors) Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: Based On your Experience.
