Job Title: Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare BOQ : Generate bills of quantities based on project specifications, drawings, and contracts.

Estimation : Develop cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects.

Invoice Preparation : Create and issue invoices to clients based on work completed and milestones achieved.

Verification : Verify and cross-check bills against contracts, drawings, and other project documents to ensure accuracy.

Cost Control : Monitor project costs and expenses, identifying any discrepancies or variances.

Documentation : Maintain comprehensive records of all billing documents, contracts, and project correspondence.

Coordination : Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for billing purposes.

Reporting : Prepare regular reports on billing activities, financial performance, and project status updates.

Compliance : Ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, and regulatory requirements related to billing and invoicing.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Billing Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.

Strong proficiency in quantity surveying software and billing systems (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel).

Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Solid understanding of construction contracts, cost management principles, and project scheduling.

Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience: minimum 4 years
