We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at Just Fresh, a leading fresh fruits and vegetables brand. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the logistics operations for both our B2B and B2C channels. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain management in the food industry.

Responsibilities:

Logistics Operations Management:

- Plan, organize, and manage end-to-end logistics operations for both B2B and B2C channels, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables.

- Collaborate with logistics vendors to ensure seamless coordination of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.

- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve the overall delivery experience for our customers.

- Monitor and analyze key logistics performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Vendor Management:

- Evaluate, select, and manage logistics service providers to ensure high-quality service and cost-effectiveness.

- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with logistics vendors, ensuring compliance with delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.

- Regularly assess vendor performance and take necessary actions to address any issues or gaps in service delivery.

Quality Control:

- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain product freshness and integrity throughout the logistics process.

- Conduct regular audits of warehouses, transportation facilities, and handling procedures to ensure compliance with internal quality standards.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to optimize performance.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability within the logistics team.

- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.

Requirements:

- Proven experience of at least 5 years in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the food industry.

- Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining effective relationships with logistics vendors.

- Proficient in using logistics management software and systems to optimize operations and track performance.
