We are seeking a Central Ops Lead / Control Tower Manager for the F&V E-commerce B2B & B2C Operations and Supply Chain.
The Control Tower Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the supply chain processes across all different verticals such as First Mile, Warehousing, Logistics, Last Mile Deliveries, Quality, Returns, etc. through the implementation and management of a scalable & sustainable control tower system. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of managing and coordinating various aspects of the supply chain to ensure efficiency, visibility, and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Control Tower Implementation:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of a control tower system to provide real- time visibility into the entire supply chain.
- Ensure the integration of data from various sources to enhance visibility and decision-making.
- Logistics planning and execution; Last-Mile Delivery Management
Supply Chain Optimization and Analytics:
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Monitor KPIs to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
- Establish and track performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into the performance of the supply chain.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, logistics, operations, and data to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on supply chain activities and address any concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
- Lead negotiations on contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Issue Resolution and Risk Management:
- Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and work with relevant teams to develop and implement solutions.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and transportation, TATs & SLAs.
- Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including disruptions in logistics, external issues, and changes in market conditions.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
- Implement best practices and leverage technology to optimize processes.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in supply chain operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the supply chain and implement necessary adjustments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Min. Graduate with substantial exp. in Data/Control Tower/Central Ops management roles preferably in the quick-commerce/e-commerce/F&V industry.
- Preference to B.Tech.+MBA (Tier 1) with strong analytical and execution skills
- Database management, Dashboard preparations; Predictive/prescriptive/descriptive analytics.
- Ability to make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and control tower software is desirable.
- Leadership, collaboration supervising, coaching, and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication, people management, and time management skills
- Problem Solving and Handling stressful and complicated situations.
