Job Description

12+ years of Architecting & Developing Experience working in Big Data Technologies using Apache Hadoop, Spark & SQL etc.


5+ years of strong Development Coding experience using Spark with Python


Minimum 3+ Years experience working on Databricks on AWS based Cloud Services


5+ years of strong experience in Big Data design, modelling & Development such as star schema and snowflake, database design using data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER Studio etc.


Proven experience in designing Data Pipelines & Processing for ETL ELT processes and data warehouses in complex, large scale environments.


Hands-on experience in performance tuning, optimizing & scaling of large scale Hierarchical workloads and processes


Familiarity with New Age Data Platforms like Databricks & it's associated components on cloud Providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and cloud-native data services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse).


Working Experience of data governance, data quality principles, and metadata management in Databricks


Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and deliver on time in complex projects.


Experience in a data platform re-engineering or modernization project is preferred


Knowledge of data lakes, data mesh, and modern data architecture principles is good to have About Virtusa
