Business Intelligence Developer Roles and Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (Tableau SME)
• Creating wireframes and dashboards with a focus on user experience, correctness, and visibility.
• Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis.
• Improve overall process in data management, collection, dashboard design, and entire product life-cycle.
• Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations.
• Dashboard Performance optimization, tuning, and debugging performance bottlenecks.
• Define access controls and implement security measures whenever required.

Requirements: • 4+ proven experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau-driven dashboards, and analytics. Banking domain knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to query and display large data sets while understanding advanced calculations and maximizing the performance of the workbook.
• Able to creatively stretch the capability of Tableau to customize and develop creatively stunning and dynamic visualizations.
• In-depth knowledge and a sound understanding of RDBMS and Datawarehouse systems, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics.
• Strong and hands-on knowledge of SQL, writing complex queries, query optimization and debugging/ troubleshooting.
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Working knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture.
• High-level competency in Excel ( pivot tables, etc.).
• Technical knowledge of Tableau Products and versions including Tableau Server, Tableau Public, Tableau Online, Tableau Desktop, and PowerBI (good to have)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Certified Tableau Professional. Certification in any other BI tools will be added advantage.
• Has experience working on JIRA or similar project management tools.
