BI Insights Manager - Business Finance

About The Role

This role is a unique opportunity to have a birds eye view of the business along with the ability to zoom in and drive mandates related to all financial aspectsand initiatives across Careem. The role will also own automation of reporting and developing systems that will help business teams to remain within the allocated budget.

Reporting

The role will be based in low cost location and will report into VP of Business Finance. The role will be part of the Strategic Finance department.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Business Finance team to understand and evolve the current spend systems.
  • Act as a point of contact for any spends related automation work.
  • Analyse spends and produce customer LTV reports, acquisition reports, suggestions along with recommendations for cost effective spending.
  • Setup reporting initiatives across all lines of spends and build trackers and tools to monitor and control spends vs budget allocated for different markets.
  • Setup systems and dashboards to monitor and control spends and build visibility for the different stakeholders.
  • Regular spend reporting (daily, weekly and monthly cadence) to the different stakeholders like Finance, Markets and Growth functions.
  • Work with data teams to identify and fix any data related issues on the company database.
What you will need
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, strong Programming skills (Python), Statistics is a plus.
  • Proficiency in building Excel models, Tableau dashboards, reporting integration on Slack and e-mails.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an inclination to gather knowledge and data to generate powerful insights.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment with a sense of urgency mindset. Be hands-on, have an ownership mindset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance or any other degree with good background in Finance.
