Responsibilities:
- Teach Diverse Dance Styles: Instruct students using various Bharatanatyam dance styles and methodologies, from beginner to advanced levels.
- Develop Curriculum: Create comprehensive dance curriculums and prepare detailed lesson plans.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with a diverse group of students, parents, and fellow teachers.
- Student Engagement: Inspire, engage, and motivate students to achieve their dance goals.
- Performance Evaluation: Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Choreography: Choreograph routines and select appropriate music for recitals, concerts, and other performances.
- Conduct Lessons: Lead group and private lessons as needed, catering to individual student needs.
- Creative Environment: Foster a fun, inclusive, and creative learning environment.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of developments in the Bharatanatyam discipline and update routines and curriculum accordingly.
- Passion for Dance: A deep love and passion for Bharatanatyam dance and teaching.
- Experience: Proven experience in teaching Bharatanatyam dance to various age groups and skill levels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Motivational Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Choreography Skills: Strong ability to choreograph and develop engaging dance routines.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet student needs.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to the schools guidelines and policies.
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of dance.
