THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Benefits PM India, you will be based in Bangalore, India and report to the Director of Global Benefits who is based in the U.S. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our benefit programs in India, partnering with our vendors, brokers, and cross-functional teams in Payroll, Legal, and Finance, as well as providing guidance to employees and helping them with their benefits needs.
As a Benefits PM at Xactly Corporation, you'll learn from some of the best and brightest HR professionals in the SaaS space. You will have the opportunity to leverage your skills in both the operational and technical domains within the Benefits function. You will be exposed to a variety of impactful operational and strategic work that is the foundation of our organization. This includes owning the India benefits onboarding & administration, wellness programs, and other initiatives to maintain a competitive benefits portfolio.
You will have the unique opportunity to enhance the benefit administration activities for India as we expand in the region, leveraging your expertise to cultivate an unparalleled experience for our employees. Simultaneously, you'll collaborate closely with our Global Benefits & HR team, contributing to a spectrum of initiatives encompassing our health and wellness programs.
THE TEAM:
Xactly's Human Resources team is a tight-knit team with diverse backgrounds-our department includes both early, mid and career professionals from a variety of backgrounds. We're charged with bringing progressive, creative, and impactful HR strategies to the Company. This is a hybrid role that will give you a large variety of exposure to a wealth of activities within the benefits function. You will also have fun with this amazing team.
THE SKILL SET:
• 6+ years of prior relevant experience mainly in benefits administration. Experience working for a US based multinational company is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the versatility to manage multiple projects, changing priorities, and addressing urgent issues successfully and simultaneously
• Skilled in building rapport and communicating with employees and leaders at various organizational levels.
• Strong project management experience with a focus on employee experience, program and vendor management
• Strong verbal and written communication. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills and able to work proactively cross-functionally and across all levels within the organization.
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
• Able to handle confidential data with appropriate sensitivity
• Capable of working independently while also contributing to team efforts towards common goals.
• Understanding of local laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Proficiency with HR systems, preferably Workday
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the day-to-day benefits administration activities in partnership with benefit vendors, and brokers to ensure smooth benefits service delivery.
• Support the benefit renewal process including data gathering, data review, and successful implementation of program changes, policies and initiatives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (Payroll, Legal, HRIS and Finance) on processing renewals, making timely payments, benefit program implementation and other areas related to benefits administration
• Identify and analyze gaps and deficiencies in our current benefit administration processes; make recommendations and execute improvements
• Conduct the employee benefits on-boarding and off-boarding. Draft and maintain benefit communication materials on company intranet and new hire materials for onboarding
• Manage and resolve employee queries and escalations by coordinating with benefit brokers and carriers as needed
• Partner with finance to manage the invoicing process including auditing, tracking, and ensuring timely benefit payments
• Partner with the benefits team to drive awareness of the various benefit programs through the design and delivery of communication campaigns.
• Work closely with the HR Operations Specialist and HR Admin to support the daily benefits administration activities, wellness and other key initiatives as needed.
• Ensure compliance with governmental regulations related to benefit programs
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL
• Get your bearings and begin to build a strong foundation, upon which to grow
• Build relationships with the HR team including all functional area leads
• Gain a foundational framework for understanding how the basics work including our organizational structure, who you will be working with on key projects, key stakeholders in the delivery of benefits and how to navigate the basics of getting work done
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL
• Have a strong understanding of the business, and begin teaching us a thing or two we don't know
• Fully manage the benefits administration processes in India and getting ahead of employees' needs
• Begin supporting projects in the benefits areas
• Recommend process improvements and ask critical questions
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL
• Begin to implement some of the concepts you have learned and leverage the learning that you have been developing over the past 6-months
• Take on larger tasks and challenges (compliance, issue resolution etc)
• Roll out efficiencies you've identified as part of process improvement
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU'LL
• Be seen as a well-versed, trusted Benefits PM making a positive impact company-wide
• Identify further personal education opportunities to increase your business and Benefits acumen
